Frontier Project

We’ve come so far!  The passage of the American Clean Energy and Security Act by the House is a tremendous step toward boosting America’s economy, promoting our national security, and fulfilling our moral obligation to care for God’s creation.  But we have more to do.  The call to be good stewards is one that permeates our lives and can be lived out in great and small ways every day.  Passing the climate bill through the Senate and making it law is incredibly important, and so are the actions we can take in our homes and communities to tend and till our corner of creation.

The Bible states that just as the body is made up of many members, each as important as the other, the individual gifts and talents that we each can contribute are part of a greater whole and can be used to further God’s kingdom.  To confront the climate crisis, we each need to contribute our individual time and talent.  We’ve all been gifted in different ways, but if we join together into a single body and movement, we can shape the course of the coming debate in the Senate and around final passage.
